The Monkey: It is believed that the Lord Buddha himself was born under this sign, "See no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil", but I think that there are some monkeys who are just too clever, too unscrupulous and much too crafty, to take any notice of this ancient saying. Though of course Monkeys are considered wise.

His quick wit, sharp memory and sheer nerve have often saved the naughty monkey from the authorities. His aim in life is to learn, to communicate, to experience, so sometimes he uses his wisdom for the benefits of mankind - and sometimes NOT - he uses it for the benefit of Mr Monkey! Crafty, sly, artful with a caustic wit, he is often insecure at heart. Never try to argue with a monkey - you just can't win. You'll have more success with bribes and sweet talk - Monkeys do get taken in by flattery and attention.

Monkeys and Dragons go well together, and so long as he's not up to his old tricks, a Monkey might do well with Miss Pig, but the faithful Dog can't cope with all that hanky-panky and the Horse will just gallop away.

Some famous Monkeys: Marquis de Sade, Leonardo da Vinci and Diana Ross.
