Discovered in 1846, Neptune, with his Trident as his sign, is four times bigger than the Earth and it takes 165 years to orbit the Sun - quite a planet! The influence of this great body is inspirational emotional (as a 'higher octave' of Venus). Neptune is also linked with Vulcan and both have links with the sea, though eventually Vulcan turned to working with fire. Just thinking of these two great Gods, the instability of volcanoes, the power of the sea, will give you some idea of how this planet works - definitely wobbly at times! Neptune rules the 12th House of Pisces, of course, but that House is also called "The Dustbin of the Zodiac". Oh dear, is it all ghastly? Not a bit of it.
