Journals and Other Publications Relating to the Great Books

ere are some journals and other publications that focus on the "great books." These include both electronic and print media. This list is far from complete; please let me know of others that I may have missed.

• Incorporated Words

  Description: Welcome to Incorporated Words, a nonprofit organization founded in 1996. Incorporated Words is a nonprofit Massachusetts corporation organized to promote and foster reading, writing and language, and is funded through donations, grants, bequests and events. Gifts are tax deductible. In-kind contributions are accepted. Activities are implemented by a board of directors comprised of professionals in theatre arts, literature and arts administration.

  Incorporated Words is interested in commentary and illustrations that have an edge. Something which is fresh and wild, and that can reintroduce a classic title with a youthful perspective. What Incorporated Words is not looking for are critical or academic interpretations, nor simple book reviews that recap characters and plot. The magazine is not particularly interested in traditional illustrations, nor those embraced by mainstream publications. What a contributor offers must be immediate, personal, and relate timeless ideas with modern perspectives
