Within us all there hides a muse, Awaiting grand release, Who drives to overtake our words So we may bring some peace. Come with me and fly my way, Journey with dragons of old, Listen to the heartfelt pleas and The stories that are told. May the goddess guide you To that place within your heart, That speaks to you of vision, That brings forth the wonderous art. |

The path we are on is one not taken lightly, It's not a road for the weak or one easily dismissed. That's not to say that we don't get downhearted, We are aware that what we have is a gift. A gift that cannot be ignored, no matter distance, And a feeling that will not be brushed aside. For we both swam through blood and pain, To stand the test of time. For centuries we walked this world, just searching, And loneliness is a friend we know quite well. The solid wall we recognize in each other, Is a result of what we've been through; namely hell. Emotional baggage we carry, like chains to a ghost, And insecurities we have, maybe by the ton. But beyond all the pain and the sorrow and strife, In my heart I am sure you're the one. So we wade through the tears and the arguments, To reach the bottom of our old hearts. And we will search every nook, every cranny, and crevice, 'Til we have seen our way back to the start. We will not let go and we will not give up, For to do so means losing our soul. You can't remove half, when two are entwined, And my beloved, together we're whole. |

I hear your spirit speaking. You have visited my dreams. We share a love within our souls, More eternal, than endless, it seems. Have we time enough to share This ancient love from times before? One life has not beem enough; Our spirits long for more. Now we stand together, Our spirits melded as one, Under the sheen of the night sky, Naked to all in the sun. May we keep and know each other, As two pieces of the whole, To grow and experience together, To be as we are, One Soul. |
