Right then who are all this lot? Uncle Peter-Ernest Peter Clayton, My mums brother. One of the nicest blokes you could ever meet. A champion drystone waller, he worked on farms in his younger days. Married to Glyniss Gregory-(No prior relation to me). Passed away a few years ago. I never cried so much at any funeral. We spent great times together. Aunty Pat. (Martha Doreen Clayton), my mums sister. A strong lady indeed. Known for being a champion of the weak. Married Cecil Carson from Bamford. Without her kind help, the majority of Clayton photos would have been unavailable to this website. Gran Clayton-Nellie Clayton. Also adopted as a child. With her mum, and my mum. Gran Clayton was one of the kindest women I have ever met. Aunty Pat and Uncle Cecil stepping out. Sadly uncle Cecil died on New Years Eve 2000. I am sorry that I never got to know him as well as I would have liked, but we did have good times together when I was young, he used to pick Strawberries for me from his garden. Uncle Cecil as a boy.
