According to Hadith, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) when retiring to bed every night, would hold his palms together, spit lightly in them, and recite the last three chapters of the Quran (al-iKHlaaS, al-falaq, and an-naas) and then wipe over his body as much as possible with his hands, beginning with his head and face and then all parts of the body. He did this three times. Doing so will protect one from all harm. |
