POWELL AND SHARON ANNOUNCE MITCHELL TIMELINE June 30, 2001LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A British scientist studying heart attack patients says he is finding evidence that suggests that consciousness may continue after the brain has stopped functioning and a patient is clinically dead.
The research, presented to scientists last week at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), resurrects the debate over whether there is life after death and whether there is such a thing as the human soul.
"The studies are very significant in that we have a group of people with no brain function ... who have well-structured, lucid thought processes with reasoning and memory formation at a time when their brains are shown not to function," Sam Parnia, one of two doctors from Southampton General Hospital in England who have been studying so-called near-death experiences (NDEs), told Reuters in an interview.
"We need to do much larger-scale studies, but the possibility is certainly there" to suggest that consciousness, or the soul, keeps thinking and reasoning even if a person's heart has stopped, he is not breathing and his brain activity is nil, Parnia said.
He said he and colleagues conducted an initial yearlong study...
During the initial study, Parnia said, 63 heart attack patients who were deemed clinically dead but were later revived were interviewed within a week of their experiences.
Of those, 56 said they had no recollection of the time they were unconscious and seven reported having memories. Of those, four were labeled NDEs in that they reported lucid memories of thinking, reasoning, moving about and communicating with others after doctors determined their brains were not functioning.
FEELINGS OF PEACE
Among other things, the patients reported remembering feelings of peace, joy and harmony. For some, time sped up, senses heightened and they lost awareness of their bodies.
The patients also reported seeing a bright light, entering another realm and communicating with dead relatives. One, who called himself a lapsed Catholic and Pagan, reported a close encounter with a mystical being....
When the brain is deprived of oxygen people become totally confused, thrash around and usually have no memories at all, Parnia said. "Here you have a severe insult to the brain but perfect memory."
Skeptics have also suggested that patients' memories occurred in the moments they were leaving or returning to consciousness. But Parnia said when a brain is traumatized by a seizure or car wreck a patient generally does not remember moments just before or after losing consciousness.
Rather, there is usually a memory lapse of hours or days. "Talk to them. They'll tell you something like: 'I just remember seeing the car and the next thing I knew I was in the hospital,'" he said.
"With cardiac arrest, the insult to the brain is so severe it stops the brain completely. Therefore, I would expect profound memory loss before and after the incident," he added.
Since the initial experiment, Parnia and his colleagues have found more than 3,500 people with lucid memories that apparently occurred at times they were thought to be clinically dead. Many of the patients, he said, were reluctant to share their experiences fearing they would be thought crazy.
A TODDLER'S TALE
One patient was 2-1/2 years old when he had a seizure and his heart stopped. His parents contacted Parnia after the boy "drew a picture of himself as if out of his body looking down at himself. It was drawn like there was a balloon stuck to him. When they asked what the balloon was he said, 'When you die you see a bright light and you are connected to a cord.'...
"What his parents noticed was that after he had been discharged from hospital, six months after the incident, he kept drawing the same scene."...
"When these people are having experiences they say, 'I had this intense pain in my chest and suddenly I was drifting in the corner of my room and I was so happy, so comfortable. I looked down and realized I was seeing my body and doctors all around me trying to save me and I didn't want to go back.
"The point is they are describing seeing this thing in the room, which is their body. Nobody ever says, 'I had this pain and the next thing I knew my soul left me.'"

Dating study 'means human history rethink'

...British and American scientists have found radio carbon dating, used to give a rough guide to the age of an object, can be wrong by thousands of years....
The results were checked using a newer, more accurate method known as uranium dating.
They found that the carbon dates were wrong by thousands of years and that the further back in time they went, the more out-of-date they were.
Just to let you know I received this same picture as you placed in PC 770 about 2 years ago, also with the explanation of it being a "..funnel cloud during the tornado warnings last week..."
Thanks for the love you share with us all and the time you take to do research.
I have couple of questions for you,
1st Do you believe that our rapture and whole marriage of Bride and Jesus will be exactly 100% same as jewish marriage tradition? Is it "must" that our marriage to Jesus will follow it exactly?
2nd Do you believe that Israel is clock for whole body? I mean, why it should be almost "only" visible clock to Body, if Body is mixed of gentiles and jews and they are both equal in Body.
3rd I do not understand 10 virgins parable. Why are virgins going to wedding party? Doesnt that mean that they are different from Groom and Bride? Why there are 10 virgins (not just 2?), and how are they related to Groom or Wife? 10 virgins, doesnt number ten mean some kind of perfection and virgin means pure from the beginning. Is there any scriptural reference that believer becomes or is virgin after receiving Jesus and following Him?
Sorry my lousy english. Let us not never forget that Jesus will never forget us, He is always with us. In Jesus Christ
> > Is it "must" that our marriage to Jesus will follow it exactly?
No, but we should examine the possibility that it might. Types are seldom exact in every detail, but they are close enough to be of tremendous help in interpreting prophecy.
> > Do you believe that Israel is clock for whole body?
The clock for Israel is for Israel. However, it seems to me that the ending of the Age of the Jews (the 70th week of Daniel) will run concurrently (at the same time) with the end of the Age of the Gentiles and the Age of the Church.
There are three 2000-year ages. They run consecutively (one after the other). First was the Age of the Gentiles. God dealt with all mankind. Next was the Age of the Jews. God dealt mainly with the Jews. Now we are living in the Age of the Church. God is dealing mainly with the church.
It is easy to see that the end of the Age of the Jews is the 70th week of Dan. 9:27, because the introductory verse 24 says, "Seventy weeks are determined upon THY PEOPLE AND UPON THE HOLY CITY."
To go beyond this is harder to see. Psa. 22:27 says, "ALL THE ENDS of the world (erets, earth) shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and ALL THE KINDREDS OF THE NATIONS shall worship before thee."
I Cor. 10:11 says, "Now all these things happened unto them (the Jews) for ensamples (tupos, types, examples): and they are written for our admonition (nouthesia, calling attention to by implication), upon whom the ENDS (plural of telos, final conclusion or ending of acts or states) of the world (aionos, ages) are come."
So there are ENDS of all the AGES. All three ends of the ages seem to run concurrently (at the same time). Rev. 3:10 says, "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation (peirasmos, trial), which SHALL COME UPON ALL THE WORLD, to try them that dwell upon the earth."
> > why it should be almost "only" visible clock
God chose to give prophecies to the world through one nation, Israel.
> > Is there any scriptural reference that believer becomes or is virgin after receiving Jesus and following Him?
II Cor. 11:2 says, "For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused (harmozo, betrothed, engaged) you to one husband, that I may present you AS A CHASTE VIRGIN to Christ." The words "like" and "as" are symbolic language. We are AS virgins, or likened to virgins. The church is likened to a chaste virgin because her past sins have been wiped off the books when she accepted Christ. After that, she can sin (i.e., get her feet dirty in her daily walk). At that point, we (she or he, we are all one in Christ) must confess our sins (I John 1:9) to bring them all under the blood of Christ. Then God will cleanse us of all unrighteousness. We are then counted as wise virgins. The foolish ones still have to wash their spiritual robes in the blood of Christ to make them white. Rev. 7:14 says of the Tribulation saints, "These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."
> > I do not understand 10 virgins parable. Why are virgins going to wedding party? Doesnt that mean that they are different from Groom and Bride?
The Bridegroom is Christ. The wise virgins are the Bride of Christ. They are to go to his Father's house, where the wedding will take place. Actually, for us, the wedding is on the first day of the millennial Day of the Lord. Before that, we will visit the place where we will live. Job 5:24 says, "thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in peace; and thou shalt VISIT THY HABITATION, and shalt not sin." We have to wait until the 144,000 are brought to join us. They too are virgins, "without fault" (Rev. 14:4,5). Then, on that very day, the Marriage of the Lamb will take place.
> > Why there are 10 virgins (not just 2?), and how are they related to Groom or Wife? 10 virgins, doesnt number ten mean some kind of perfection and virgin means pure from the beginning.
There is a group that is the Bride of Christ, not just one person. The wise virgins are the Bride group. Christ is the Bridegroom. In this type, the wise are pure since they accepted Christ, or they have confessed all sins since that time. None of us has been without sin since we were born. Christ is the only one that managed to do that. He must have been an easy child to raise, except when he went to the temple to prepare for his bar mitzvah. That time, he thought they would know that he had to be about his Father's business. They didn't, but that was not charged against him as sin. He didn't willfully disobey them. They left without him, assuming that he was in the crowd and had to go back to find him.
Your English is fine. You get your point across. I understand what you write. Agape
I have been reading letters posted on this site for sometime. I am watching for the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ for His Bride. There has been a lot of good scriptures posted on the possibility of a spring/or early summer rapture. But there was one thing lacking in most of the verses I have read. More and More the Spirit keeps me coming back in the scriptures to Rosh ha Shanah. I have attended a Bible study of the Festivals of the Lord and a Jewish interpretation of the scriptures for about 5 years now. (Joseph Good with Hatikva Ministries materials)
On June 12, I was awakened with the sound of the shofar blowing. It was heard in my spirit, but the sound was so loud that I thought I heard it with my ears. Later on that day our community experienced 13 tornados sighted near or around it. The tornado warning sirens sounded all day in the subdivision in which we live. God is telling us to WAKE UP!! Be encouraged Doves and readers of these letters, Christ's return is imminent. Yet many in the church refuse to listen.
Upon studying the feast of Rosh ha Shanah, we learned it goes by many names. I will list some: The Feast of Trumpets, The Day of the Awakening Blast, The Day that No Man Knoweth. Sound familiar? It is because the Feast is actually a 48 hour period, designated when the New Moon actually appears in the sky.
To the Jew, certain phrases in the Word meant what Festival was being celebrated. Three trumpets were sounded at various feasts. The "first trump" was sounded at Pentecost. The "last trump" was sounded at Rosh Ha Shanah, and the "great trump" was sounded at Yom Kippur. 1 Cor.15:51,52 says, "Behold, I tell you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed (i.e. the rapture)-- in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the LAST TRUMPET. For the TRUMPET will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."
"Blow the TRUMPET at the TIME OF THE NEW MOON, At the full moon, on our solemn FEAST DAY." Ps. 81:3 The NEW MOON was the Beginning of the festival and the FULL MOON was its ending.
Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement) is taught through this study as the appointed time of the Second Coming of Christ and the Feast of Tabernacles as the Millineal reign of Christ.
Some food for thought. Christ fulfilled the first four feasts to the letter. Indications of this assures us that in like manner, will the last three feasts be fulfilled. I believe that in any case it warrants watching.
"For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men-" 1 Peter 2:15
Blessings to you John and all the Doves. Mary Hansen
I don't think "the feast of Rosh ha Shanah" is listed in Scripture at all. When the Israelites came out of Egypt and camped at Mt. Sinai, the Lord told them, "This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you" (Ex. 12:2). Therefore, Nisan became the head of the year to them. According to Scripture, the Feast of Trumpets is a one-day feast. It falls on Tishri 1, the first day of the 7th month.
Lev. 23:24 says, "In the SEVENTH MONTH, in the FIRST DAY of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of TRUMPETS, AN HOLY CONVOCATION." I don't think the 2nd day is mentioned in Scripture as being the Feast of Trumpets. The Jews started that when they were dispersed. The ones far away were afraid they might not hit the right day. News traveled slowly in those days. They kept the feast on 2 days to make sure they got the right day. I did a search for "awakening blast" and "day that no man knoweth" without finding a single reference. Since Tishri 1 is the Day of God's Wrath, the day of the awakening blast will turn out to be all too true. That will be the day the nation is saved in a day (Isa. 66:8).

I have long thought that the first "trump of God" (I Thess. 4:16) would sound for the Bride saints on Pentecost. I feel sure that the "last trump" of God (I Cor. 15:51,52) will sound for the Tribulation saints on the Feast of Trumpets. I searched for the "great trump" without finding any references in Scripture.
> > "Blow the TRUMPET at the TIME OF THE NEW MOON, At the full moon, on our solemn FEAST DAY." Ps. 81:3 The NEW MOON was the Beginning of the festival and the FULL MOON was its ending.
Psa 81:3 (KJV) says, "Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day. " The new moon is the first of the month. The full moon is the middle of the month. This feast day (singular) could not be on both. The KJV translation makes sense. The Feast of Trumpets is the only feast that falls on the 1st day of the month. It does not last until the full moon. The Day of Atonement is on Tishri 10. The Feast of Tabernacles starts on Tishri 15, the full moon.
> > Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement) is taught through this study as the appointed time of the Second Coming of Christ and the Feast of Tabernacles as the Millineal reign of Christ.
I think the millennial Day of the Lord will begin on Tishri 1, the 1st day of the Jewish Civil Year, and Christ will return 7 months later (Eze. 39:12,13) the following Nisan 1, the 1st day of the Jewish Sacred and Regnal Year. Thus that Jewish Civil Year that starts Tishri 1 must be a Jewish Leap Year with the 13th month. In ordinary years, there are 6 months between Tishri 1 and Nisan 1.
Eze. 29:17 sets the day as Nisan 1. It says, "in the first month, in the first day of the month. Then v. 21 says, "In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD."
Hos. 6:3 says, "the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth." At the First Advent, he came as the former rain on Tishri 1. At the Second Advent, he will come as the latter rain on Nisan 1.
De. 11:14 says, "I will give you the rain of your land in HIS DUE SEASON, the first (or former) rain and the latter rain." De. 28:12 says, "The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in HIS SEASON."
At the Second Advent, the sanctuary will be cleansed. Eze. 45:18 says, "Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the first month, in the first day of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish, and cleanse the sanctuary." We know this is Nisan 1, because v. 21 says, "In the first month, in the fourteenth day of the month, ye shall have the passover." The Passover is Nisan 14. Agape
The fast of the 4th month, Tamuz 17, is because of the golden calf incident at Mt. Sinai. It doesn't tie in too well with the Rapture. Moses came down and dashed the 2 stone tablets to the ground because of the golden calf. That date is also when Rome breached the walls of Jerusalem in 70 AD. The fast of the 5th month is Tisha be-Av, the 9th of Av. It is the date of the spies' report and when both temples were set fire. The fast of the 7th month is the Fast of Gedalia, Tishri 4, because of his death. The fast of the 10th month, Teveth 10, commemorates the day Nebuchadnezzar set himself against Jerusalem (Eze. 24:1,2). I don't see much that could be associated with the Rapture.
Jer. 52:12,13 says, "in the fifth month, in the tenth day of the month (Av 10), which was the nineteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, which served the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem, And burned the house of the LORD." According to Josephus, in 70 AD, the fire was set on the temple grounds on Av 9, but the temple proper burned on Av 10.
For your consideration, there is a case that could be made in favor of a Feast-of-Trumpets Rapture on Tishri 1 (Sept. 18 in 2001). I looked at the dates in Gen. 8:4-13. It says, "the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat (which means holy ground)." This would be Nisan 17 on the civil calendar. The sacred calendar did not start until the Exodus. Keep in mind that water is a symbol of the Holy Spirit, that Noah in the Ark represents our being in Christ, and that the Rapture is as the days of Noah, (meaning rest, repose, consolation) in some way.
Continuing, Gen. 8 says, "the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month (Tamuz 1, June 22 in 2001), were the tops of the mountains (of Ararat, holy ground) seen. And it came to pass at the end of forty days (Av 12, Aug. 1 in 2001), that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made: And he sent forth a raven (a black bird of prey), which went forth to and fro (like Satan in Job 1:7 and 2:2), until the waters (Holy Spirit) were dried up from off the earth (i.e., until the Holy Spirit is removed at the Rapture, II Thess. 2:7; then the wicked one can be revealed). Also he sent forth a dove (another symbol of the Holy Spirit) from him, to see if the waters were abated (qalal, to be made lighter, less) from off the face of the ground; But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth (i.e., the Beast and False Prophet are still hindered by the Holy Spirit from being revealed): then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark (as getting more oil in parable of 10 virgins). And he stayed yet other seven days (Av 19, Aug. 8 in 2001); and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark; And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf (symbol of peace) pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth. And he stayed yet other seven days (Av 26, Aug. 15 in 2001); and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more. And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year (i.e., 6001st, possibly 2001), in the FIRST MONTH, the FIRST DAY of the month (Tishri 1, Sept. 18 in 2001), THE WATERS WERE DRIED UP FROM OFF THE EARTH (i,e., the Rapture happens?): and Noah removed the covering of the ark (i.e., the revelation of Christ is the Rapture), and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry."
Any time after that, the Beast and False Prophet could be revealed. Since the 1st day of the 2300 to the Second Advent is Teveth 5 (Dec. 20 in 2001), the Beast and False Prophet may confirm the 7-year treaty with "many" then.
If the Pre-Trib Rapture would happen on Tishri 1, 5761 (Sept. 18, 2001), it would be on the Feast of Trumpets 6 years before the Pre-Wrath Rapture on the Feast of Trumpets on Tishri 1, 5768 (Sept. 13, 2007). Could both trumps of God sound on the Feast of Trumpets? Knowing about the first Rapture would help the Tribulation saints know when the second Rapture would take place.
What about other Rapture passages? Could they fit a Pre-Trib-Feast-of-Trumpets Rapture.
Micah 7:1,2 (NAB) says, "Alas! I am as (symbolic language) WHEN THE FRUIT IS GATHERED, as when the vines have been gleaned; There is no cluster to eat, no early fig that I crave. THE FAITHFUL ARE GONE FROM THE EARTH, among men the upright are no more! They all lie in wait to shed blood, each one ensnares the other."
Micah 7:1,2 (KJV) says, "Woe is me! for I am as when THEY HAVE GATHERED THE SUMMER FRUITS, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit. THE GOOD MAN IS PERISHED (ABAD, VANISHED, ESCAPED) OUT OF THE EARTH: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net."
The summer fruit, both grapes and figs, could represent Gentiles and Jews. When the summer fruits have been gathered could easily be Tishri 1 (Sept. 18, 2001). The last day of summer is Sept. 21.
Isaiah 57:1-3, 15,16 (KJV) says, "THE RIGHTEOUS PERISHETH (ABAD, VANISHES, ESCAPES), and no man layeth it to heart: and MERCIFUL MEN ARE TAKEN AWAY, none considering that THE RIGHTEOUS IS TAKEN AWAY FROM THE EVIL TO COME. HE SHALL ENTER INTO PEACE (remember the olive leaf): they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness....For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I DWELL IN THE HIGH AND HOLY PLACE, WITH HIM ALSO THAT IS OF A CONTRITE AND HUMBLE SPIRIT, TO REVIVE THE SPIRIT OF THE HUMBLE, AND TO REVIVE THE HEART OF THE CONTRITE (daka, humble) ONES. For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made".
What about Song of Solomon 2:10-14? Let's read it in several versions.
Song 2:10-14 (Lamsa Bible) says, "Rise up, my love, my beautiful one, and come away. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the TIME OF PRUNING IS COME, and the voice of the turtle dove is heard in our land; The fig tree puts forth its green figs, and the vines with tender shoots give fragrance. ARISE, my beloved, my beautiful one, and COME AWAY. O my dove, who nests in the clefts of the rock and in the secret places of the hedge."
Song of Sol. 2:10-14 (Concordant V) says, "Arise, you, my dearest! My lovely one, now go you forth! For behold, the wintry weather has passed; The downpour has passed on and has itself gone. The flowers are soon in the land; THE SEASON FOR PRUNING IS ATTAINED, And the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land (April to October). The fig tree flavors its green figs, And the vines, in bloom, give scent. ARISE, you, my dearest! My lovely one, NOW GO YOU FORTH! My dove, in the clefts of the crag, In the concealment of the cliff, Let me see your appearance: Let me hear your voice."
Song of Sol. 2:10-14 (NAB) says, "My lover speaks; he says to me, "Arise, my beloved, my beautiful one, and come! "For see, the winter is past, the rains are over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth, THE TIME OF PRUNING THE VINES HAS COME, and the song of the dove is heard in our land. The fig tree puts forth its figs, and the vines, in bloom, give forth fragrance. Arise, my beloved, my beautiful one, and come! "O my dove in the clefts of the rock, in the secret recesses of the cliff, Let me see you, let me hear your voice."
Song of Sol. 2:10-14 (LXX) says, "My kinsman answers, and says to me, RISE UP, COME, my companion, my fair one, my dove. For, behold the winter is past, the rain is gone, it has departed. The flowers are seen in the land; THE TIME OF PRUNING HAS ARRIVED; the voice of the turtle-dove has been heard in our land. The fig-tree has put forth its young figs, the vines put forth the tender grape, they yield a smell: ARISE, come, my companion, my fair one, my dove; yea, COME."
Remember what Isa. 18:3-6 (KJV) says, "All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign (flag) on the mountains (nations, UN, OWG, or EU); and WHEN HE BLOWETH A TRUMPET, HEAR YE. For so the LORD said unto me, I will take my rest (feasts are Sabbaths), and I will consider (nabat, see, look at) in my dwelling place (Heaven) like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew IN THE HEAT OF HARVEST. For AFORE THE HARVEST, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both CUT OFF the sprigs with PRUNING HOOKS, and take away and cut down the branches. THEY SHALL BE LEFT together unto the fowls of the mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them."
The unfruitful sprigs seem to be cut off in the spring or summer, BEFORE THE HARVEST. Elul and Tishri are the vintage. Maybe the time of the sour grape ripening in the flower is when the pruning takes place. Then the fruit harvest could be Tishri 1. In the section on Pentecost, Lev. 23:22 says, "when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest."
Luke 12:46 (KJV) says, "The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder (dichotomeo, cut him off or asunder), and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers." Mt. 24:51 adds, "And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
Gen. 45:6 says, "For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest." These are the seven bad years, when Joseph was in Egypt. The latter half does get shortened (Mt. 24:21,22), but this is enough to show us that there is no general Rapture Mid-Trib. It precedes the Tribulation trial that is to come upon all the Earth.
The ISBE (International Standard Bible Encyclopedia) says, "grapes begin to ripen in August." South of us, in Temecula, CA, they ripened in August last year. They were delayed 3 weeks because of a cool spring.
Mt. 26:29 may hint at the Rapture at the time of the vintage. It says, "I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom."
The former rain starts on Tishri 1, and Hos. 6:3 says, "the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth." This applies primarily to the first and second advents. He came on Tishri 1 as the former rain and will come on Nisan 1 as the latter rain. However, it seems that the 2nd Rapture has to be on Tishri 1, but before the Wrath of God falls at noon (Zeph. 2:4,5). Maybe the 1st Rapture could also be on Tishri 1, before it might rain at noon. See what you think. Agape
