US Bereft of Arab Coalition After Saudi Arabia Backs out
9-22-01 - The United States has delayed the start of its offensive against Afghanistan and Osama Bin Laden, in retaliation for the terrorist strikes in New York and Washington, because of a dramatic turnaround of Arab support in the Middle East, DEBKAfile’s Gulf and Washington sources report.

"THE Pope has amended a Vatican pronouncement that the Roman Catholic Church was the "only way to salvation", saying that Heaven is open to all as long as they are good."
My note: That falls far short of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 says of "Jesus Christ of Nazareth" (v. 10), "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Just being good won't get us to Heaven.
I just wanted to share this with your readers and see if anyone else noticed this. I have been wondering if this had anything to do with the timing of the attacks.

If nothing happens by December, logically there are only 2 possibilities:
1) The 1260, 1290, and 1335 days run concurrently OR 2) A generation is longer than 40 years.

Because of Mt. 23:36's "this generation" being 40 years plus another 120 days, I expect "this generation" of Mt. 24:34 to be 40 years plus another 120 days. The generation of 23:36 seems to have run from Palm Sunday, when they refused Jesus as the king of Israel, in 30 AD to the burning of the temple on Av 10 in 70 AD. In 1967, the Jews took the temple area. They immediately gave the Palestinians rights over it. In effect, this was similar to refusing the Lord again. June 7, 1967 is already history. It is like a solid rock to measure from. That generation will see the destruction on the Day of God's Wrath. Forty years plus another 120 days is Tishri 1, 5768 (Sept. 13, 2007).
The Oslo Accords were signed Sept. 13, 1993, another historical rock to measure from. Adding the 7 good years and the 7 bad years brings us to Sept. 13, 2007. The Accords were ratified 3 days later in Israel, on Tishri 1, 5754. Adding the 7 good and 7 bad years brings us to Tishri 1, 5768, which is Sept. 13, 2007.
Ever since 5761 began Sept. 30, 2000, Israel has been dug about and dunged, as in the 4th year of the parable of the barren fig tree in Luke 13:6-9. Israel has felt the brunt of it during this 1st of the 7 bad years. On Sept. 11, the WORLD Trade Center towers fell, demonstrating that we are in the 7 bad years. The event sent its own signals to the world. The towers formed the number 11. One was hit by American flight 11 on Sept. 11. The other tower was hit by a UNITED plane. The Tribulation will begin when a covenant is confirmed with many, i.e., with the UNITED nations of the WORLD.
The final year has to be a Jewish Leap Year, because there are 7 months (Eze. 39:12,13) between the Day of God's Wrath on Tishri 1 (Feast of Trumpets) and the return of Christ in glory on Nisan 1 (Eze. 29:17,21; Hos. 6:3). I think the Day of God's Wrath will be Tishri 1, 5768, which is a Leap Year. The 7 months of Eze. 39:12 can't fit between Tishri 1 and Nisan 1 one year sooner or one year later. It has to be a Leap Year. The Leap Years are years 3, 6, 8, 11, 14, 17 and 19 of their 19-year cycle. Year 3 was 5760 (1999/2000). Year 6 will be 5763 (2002/2003). Year 8 will be 5765 (2004/2005). Year 11 will be 5768, (2007/2008), the last year within the last generation of Mt. 24:34.
Since Peter mentioned "three tabernacles" (compare with 3rd heaven of II Cor. 12:2) at the Transfiguration (Mt. 17:4), let's see what happens during the Feast of Tabernacles, Oct. 2 - 9, 2001. Agape
To me, it is simple. If we are to be kept from something that will come on "ALL THE INHABITED EARTH," we will not be on Earth at that time. Agape
I haven't heard any one else say this but I thought it would be in 2002 because God always does things in sevens. So I thought that if you start at 1967 five (grace) times seven = 2002 and it is the last set of sevens that falls in the 40yr range. and maybe your 2007 date would still work if he shorten the trib. a year

I need time to gather verses having to do with the Feast of Tabernacles. I found something interesting in Ex. 23:16. It says, "And the feast of harvest (Pentecost), the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering (Tabernacles), which is in the END of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field." The word translated END is yatsa. Look at its meanings--ESCAPE, DEPARTING, BE RISEN, PLUCK OUT, DRAW FORTH, LEAD OUT. Wow! I can't wait to get back and study this some more. Tabernacles is Oct 2-9. Stay ready. Between now and Dec. 19 seems most likely for the Rapture. Watch world events closely, and try to read between the lines. What people do is not always what they say they will do. P.S: De:16:16 says, "Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God IN THE PLACE WHICH HE SHALL CHOOSE (Jerusalem, or New Jerusalem?); in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks (Pentecost), and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty."
John 14:2-4 says, "In my Father's house are many mansions (dwelling places): if it were not so, I would have told you. I GO TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I WILL COME AGAIN, AND RECEIVE YOU UNTO MYSELF, THAT WHERE I AM, THERE YE MAY BE ALSO. And whither I go ye know (probably Saturn), and the way ye know."
Ex. 23:14-21. It says, "Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year. Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:) And the feast of harvest [Pentecost], the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering (aciyph, gathering in of crops; Tabernacles), which is in the END (YATSA, ESCAPING, DEPARTING, RISING, PLUCKING OUT, DRAWING FORTH, LEADING OUT) of the year, when thou hast GATHERED (ACAPH, GATHERED, REMOVED, TAKEN UP) in thy labours out of the field. Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the LORD God....The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt BRING INTO THE HOUSE OF THE LORD THY GOD....Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and TO BRING THEE INTO THE PLACE WHICH I HAVE PREPARED (Heaven). Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him" (probably the Angel of the LORD, Christ).
The Hebrew acaph is also used in Isa. 57:1-3. It says, "THE RIGHTOUS PERISHETH (ABAD, ESCAPES, VANISHES), and no man layeth it to heart: and MERCIFUL MEN ARE TAKEN AWAY (ACAPH, GATHERED, REMOVED, TAKEN UP), none considering that THE RIGHTEOUS IS TAKEN AWAY (ACAPH, GATHERED, REMOVED, TAKEN UP, i.e., raptured), FROM THE EVIL TO COME. He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds (Psa. 149:5), each one walking in his uprightness. But draw near hither (the Tribulation is near), ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore."
Rev. 3:10,11 ties in with being kept "FROM THE EVIL TO COME." It says, "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I ALSO WILL KEEP THEE FROM THE HOUR OF TEMPTATION (PEIRASMOS, TRIAL), WHICH SHALL COME UPON ALL THE WORLD, TO TRY THEM THAT DWELL UPON THE EARTH. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown."
If we are to be kept FROM the trial that is to come on all that dwell upon the Earth, we are not on the Earth at that time.
I have been pondering the future fullfillment of the unfulfilled Feasts of Israel. As certain feasts have been perfectly fulfilled on their exact days(Unleavened Bread/Passover and Feast of Weeks), it seems that the raptures' of the Body of Christ and the second coming of Christ should each fulfill a feast. With the Feast of Trumpets past, I am looking at the Feast of Tabernacles of which Dueteronomy 16:13 says "You shall observe the Feast of Tabernacles or Booths for seven days after you have gathered in from the threshing floor & wine vat." One reference I was reading stated it was held as a thanksgiving for the "ingathering" or harvest. I also found it interesting that John 7 is set as the Feast of Tabernacles is drawing near and throughout its duration. John 7:37 "Now on the final and most important day of the Feast, Jesus stood, and He cried in a loud voice, If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink!" Would you please review the various scriptures concerning the Feast of Tabernacles (Lev 23:34-44; Numbers 29:12-40) and let me know if you think the rapture might fulfill this Feast?
Also, I am curious to know if you know of any signifigance of the number of bulls sacrificed each day during the feast in decending order starting with thirteen down to seven on the seventh day, then one on the eight day. And why the number of rams and male lambs remains the same each day except for the eighth day.

The Transfiguration, as a type, also seems to be set at the time of the Feast of Tabernacles. In Mark 9:3f, Jesus appears in shining raiment as white as snow "as no fuller ON EARTH can white them." Therefore, this scene represents a heavenly one instead of an earthly one, just as Rev. 1:13-16 is a heavenly view of Christ at the time of the Rapture. Peter, James, and John were as if in Heaven with the Lord, so in type, the Rapture/Resurrection had already taken place. Moses and Elijah were already in Heaven. Peter said "let us make three TABERNACLES; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias." All 3 of those were pictured as if in Heaven.
Lev. 23:36 says, "Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a SOLEMN ASSEMBLY; and ye shall do no servile work therein."
This assembly ties in with Heb. 12:22-25. It says, "YE ARE COME UNTO MOUNT ZION, and unto the city of the living God, THE HEAVENLY JERUSALEM, and to an innumerable company of angels, TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY and church of the firstborn, which are WRITTEN IN HEAVEN, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things that that of Abel. See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven."
