Iraq from Saddam and Sanctions
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
"Whoever does
not care about the Muslims
affairs, is not part of them."
You
are invited to take part in the mass demonstration, organised
by
the Iraqi Muslim Community in Britain, to condemn the series
of crimes
and genocide committed by the dictatorship regime in Iraq against
Islam and Muslims.
The demonstration is organised in the 19th Anniversary of the
brutal
execution of the Grand Ayatollah Imam Muhammad Baqir Al-Sadr
and his
sister Bint Al-Huda, the assassination of the Ayatollah Muhammad
Al-Sadr and his two sons Mustafa and Mu'amal last February. It
is a
protest against the killing and execution of hundreds of innocent
Iraqi Muslims who demonstrated against the assassination of Al-Sadr.
It also coincides with the killing and execution of half a million
Iraqi Muslims after the popular uprising that took place in 14
Iraqi
provinces in March/ April 1991. Our demands are:
- To try Saddam Hussain
and his regime for the crimes committed
against Humanity, War crimes and crimes against the Iraqi people.
- The immediate lifting
of economic sanctions imposed on the
Iraqi people.
- The release of half
a million political prisoners in 200
prisons in Iraq.
- To stop the vicious
abuses against human rights carried out by
the regime.
