Heavenly Guide: Help me recognize the signs you've placed along the paths I choose to walk. Help me remember those signs are meant for me alone and let me not seek to make others walk a path not of their choosing. If I'm constantly frustrated, let me seek to discover if I'm walking a path that's harmful to me or others. When the way becomes difficult, show me the signs pointing to areas where I can rest my weary soul. When I encounter endless delays, let me use the opportunity to decide where it is I want to go and what I want to do when I get there. When I meet unexpected detours, let me take notice and appreciate the beauty of the scenery I would have missed if not for the change in route. When I'm presented with many choices in direction, help me choose the path that will bring me closer to you. Let not my pride keep me from asking for directions. Let me recognize those you send to guide me and grant me the wisdom to follow the path I'm shown. Help me willingly part company when we reach out journey's end that they might help others as I was helped.
