Othila: Separation

Eternal Spirit: Let not my pride keep me from admitting I am capable of making mistakes. Let me learn from those mistakes so the next time I will know what to do. Let me gladly share my experiences with others that they might avoid the same pitfalls. Remind me that others have the right to learn from their own mistakes. If I've bitten off more than I can chew, don't let my determination choke me. Let me realize there are times when it is prudent to retreat and grant me the wisdom to do so when it's necessary. Retreating may involve separating myself from what until now has offered me security. Let not my fears keep me from willingly leaving that safety for what I know will be an even safer haven. Yet don't let me retreat further than needed-- remind me of the difference between retreating and running away. Crant me the courage to turn and face that from which I temporarily retreated and the strenth to conquer what at first appeared to be an overwhelming obstacle. SO BE IT. THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT SO.
