Virtual Reality
VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) allows you to explore
true three-dimensional scenes from within your internet browser.
If you're unsure of what I mean by that, think about games like
"Doom." You can walk through rooms and view objects from all
angles in real time.
What more fitting place to begin, than with a scene from
Doppelgängers? Now you can visit
the studio where Pastor Stark's hologram was created. You can go onto the stage and view the camera array in detail, or walk back into the control room where Dave and Brian work.
To view the above VRML worlds, you will need the free
Cosmo VRML Player. It does come as an option with recent versions of Netscape, so you may be able to see VRML pages already. If you can't view the VRML page, then you will need to download the Cosmo player from the link above.
