Duties of the President

The President will:

• Lead the Club by promoting excellence.
• Preside over Club meetings.
• Chair the Executive Committee and conduct Club business.
• Use the Distinguished Club Program/Club Success Plan as a management resource and recognition tool.
• Attend training sessions and participate at District Council meetings.
• With the Vice President Membership and Secretary, prepare and submit the Semi-annual Membership Report, to be received by World Headquarters by April 10th and October 10th.
• Exercise the Club vote at the Regional Conference and International Convention or tender a proxy to the District Governor.
• Be a member of the Area and District Councils.
• Attend Officer Training.
• Attend and participate in Executive Committee meetings.
• Prepare his or her successor for office.
