LITURGICAL CELEBRATION
LECTURE/DEMONSTRATION AND PARTICIPATION

A history of liturgical dance and the theology of dance includes demonstrations of various forms of liturgical dance and its uses in today's church or synagogue.

Participants are brought together for joyous celebration through dance in religious settings including dancing scripture readings, prayer meditations, set parts of the service, as well as methods of training a congregation in gesture and simple prayer movements. The training of dance choirs for special occasions is also explored.
