As the technology continues to change, developers produce more and more multimedia titles to intensify the educational experience. An Atlanta-based software developer, A.D.A.M. Inc., produces multimedia titles containing programs that are used in college and university science classes. These interactive CD-ROM subjects include anatomy, biology, chemistry, and physics.

One of the biology programs, "Animated Dissection of Anatomy of Medicine," allows students to learn about anatomy at their workstation, without ever having to dissect anything that once lived.
