Boston Museum's Kiosk

The Boston Science Museum hired an independent contractor to develop an information kiosk so that they can display the engineering, issues, and tradeoffs associated with a major public construction project: The Central Artery and Third Harbor Tunnel.

The Kiosk's program, Who does What?, contains eight interactive activities that bring the complexity of project design and construction to life. Museum visitors are offered a chance to operate a tower crane, build an underwater tunnel, decide how to route utilities, and participate in urban planning decisions.
