1874, 6 Aug; Pike Co., IL; Newspaper Notice: Concerning a Petion for Sale of Real estate of Lewis Spears [son of Harris & Elize Buckaloo Spears], deceased."

Lewis Spears died 1 Aug 1873, Pike Co., IL. Rebecca Jane & Mary Anne remained in IL while Frances, her children and John Lewis went to McDonald Co. MO before 24 Sep 1874. John Lewis is no longer there by the McDonald census of 1876. Frances "Spears" is a widow in the McDonald census of 1880. She is Frances "Alexander," a widow, in the McDonald census of 1900. There are no marriage records for her marriages to Click or Alexander in McDonald Co. courthouse, Pineville, MO.

On 19 September 1847 when Lewis was 22, he first married Rebecca (? Pound ?) Applegate, in Pike Co., IL. Born on 17 April 1827 in Indiana. Rebecca (? Pound ?) died in Pike Co., IL, on 9 April 1862; she was 34. Buried in Venable Cem., Pike Co., IL.

Frances was first married to Thomas L. Click. They had two children: Francis Marion and Sarah Ellen "Clara" Click.
