E-mail from Richard L. Buckelew, 20 Mar 1998:"These three names are new to me. I reviewed a deed to Zebedee Buckalew made 26 Oct 1885. There were several deeds nd mortgages by him. His wife was listed on one deed as A Buckalew. The deed that intrested me ended up being a very hard copy to read. It appears that Zebedee bought a piece of land from the church (Approx three Acres). This is in deed book Y page 44. It is signed by the three trustees. That may be the grave yard, which is not owned by the church?//To the side of a deed to zebedee is witnessed by josephus Buckalew. This is in deed book Y page 45. He showed up in the deed book/mortgage index book eight times. He does not show up in death records or census for 1880. His deed/Mortgage entries run from 7 Dec 1872 to 1889."

Listed on 10 Mar 1914 Marriage certificate as being from New Castle.
