3088. Charles A. Buckalew. Born on 4 June 1843 in Trenton, NJ. Charles A. died in Kent, OH, on 24 November 1931; he was 88. Buried in Omro, WI.

Charles A. first married Ann Watkins, daughter of Joseph Watkins & Prudence Osborn. Born on 20 February 1848 in Hunterdon Co., NJ. Ann died in Trenton; Mercer Co., NJ, on 27 August 1915; she was 67. Buried on 30 August 1915 in Greenwood Cem., Trenton; Mercer Co., NJ.

3089. Jane E. Buckalew. Born on 3 January 1845. Jane E. died in 1911; she was 65. Buried in Emleys Hill Churchyard, Imlaystown, NJ.

On 2 December 1866 when Jane E. was 21, she married Charles E. Jones, son of Amos Jones. Born on 1 January 1850 in Vincentown, Burlington Co., NJ. Charles E. died in Imlaystown, NJ, on 4 July 1913; he was 63. Buried in Emley's Hill Churchyard, Imlaystown, NJ.

Obituary: "...the eldest and last survivor of a family of 14 children, and originally lived in Jackson Township, Ocean County (NJ)."

Mil. Svc.:: Pvt. in U.S. Army and died of chronic diarrhea in US Hospital, Newark, NJ.

3091. Enoch Buckalew. Born on 25 February 1847 in Redbank, NJ. Enoch died on 6 June 1913; he was 66. Buried in Holy Cross Cem., Philadelphia, PA.

On 13 August 1871 when Enoch was 24, he married Mary Haney. Born on 17 May 1851. Mary died after 1920; she was 68. Buried in Holy Cross cem.; Philadelphia, PA.

On 22 May 2000, Dorothy M. Tilley wrote: "My grandmother (Mary Haney Buckalew/Bucklaew) changed the spelling of Buckalew to Bucklaew as she didn't like the 'a' stuck in between the 'k' and the 'l' ..."

On 23 August 1871 when George was 19, he married Mary Parker, daughter of Caleb Parker & Hannah, in Monmouth, NJ. Born in 1845 in NJ. Mary died on 30 November 1927; she was 82. Buried in Clarksburg Methodist Church; Clarksburg, NJ.

3098. Rachel Buckalew. Born on 18 January 1861 in NJ. Rachel died on 28 March 1885; she was 24. Buried in Imlaystown, NJ.

Another source has Rachel's yob as 1860.

On 19 September 1873 when Rachel was 12, she first married John Barker, in Ocean Co., NJ.
