Alexander first married Martha Anderson.

On 28 November 1877 when Alexander was 28, he second married Sarah Havens. Born in 1844. Sarah died in NJ State Hospital, Trenton, Mercer Co., NJ, on 6 July 1901; she was 57. Buried on 8 July 1901 in Greenwood Cem., Trenton, Mercer Co., NJ.

3134. Ursula Buckalew. Born in 1851 in NJ. Ursula died before 1900; she was 49.

3135. Elizabeth Buckalew. Born on 25 January 1853 in Hanover, Burlington Co., NJ. Elizabeth died on 14 October 1947; she was 94.

In 1870 when Elizabeth was 16, she married Joseph C. Shinn.

3136. Perzclay Buckalew. Born on 13 May 1856 in Arneytown, Monmouth Co., NJ. Perzclay died before 1900; he was 43.

3139. George H. Buckalew. Born on 31 October 1860 in Walens Mills, Ocean Co., NJ. George H. died in Hamilton Twp., Mercer Co., NJ, on 3 September 1915; he was 54. Buried on 7 September 1915 in Colonial Mem. Park, Trenton, Mercer Co., NJ.

On 19 June 1878 when George H. was 17, he first married Clara Shinn, daughter of James Shinn & Mary, in New Egypt, Ocean Co., NJ. Born in 1860 in NJ. Clara died in Bordentown, Burlington Co., NJ, on 3 September 1892; she was 32. Buried in Jacobstown Baptist Cem., North Hanover Twp., Burlington Co., NJ.

In 1884 when George H. was 23, he second married Rachel E. Suss / Sutts (?), daughter of Charles Suss / Sutts (?) & Sarah Moore. Born on 21 July 1853 in NJ. Rachel E. died in NJ on 9 July 1915; she was 61. Buried on 12 July 1915 in Colonial Mem. Park, Trenton, Mercer Co., NJ.
