From R.J. Buckelew, 29 Nov 99: "My G-father Harry Buckelew's 1/2 brother Clarence was born with the name spelled Buckelew, he just changed it to BuckAlew. It is just that simple. I guess it was his way of being difference. His Father John F. spelled his name Buckelew. He was Peter's brother.( John F. married Peter's wife after Peter died) Their father was Edward Buckelew."
