According to son G. G. Buckalew, George Washington Buckalew went from AL to LA around 1890 and stopped at Kelly, Caldwell Parish, LA.

This information in letter to Sarah Buckalew from G.G. Buckalew, undated and mailed from Sheldon, Harris Co., TX.

Ema Tipton, of Bossier City, Bossier Par., LA, said that George Washington Buckalew was born and died in LA.

George Washington married Ollie Elizabeth Lawson.
