8908. Arlis J. Alton Garrison. Born on 8 February 1921 in Franklin Co., AL. Arlis J. Alton died in Chattanooga, TN, on 29 January 1995; he was 73. Buried in Chickamauga National Cem.

Arlis served in the CCC organization in the late 1930s, and served in the U.lS. Navy during WW II. He retired from the Civil Aeronautics Administration as an Air Traffic Controller.

On 21 April 1940 when Arlis J. Alton was 19, he married Gladys Lurleen Logan, in Franklin Co., AL. They were divorced.

8909. Silas Arlene Garrison. Born on 16 February 1923 in Franklin Co., AL. Silas Arlene died in Jefferson Co., AL, on 19 March 1984; he was 61. Buried in K.P. Cem, Franklin Co., Russellville, AL. Nickname: Bay.

"Bay" served in the U.S. Army during WW II as Sgt. in the 88th Inf., 5th Army Div. He worked for the Social Security Administration, Birmingham, AL until his retirement.

On 31 July 1945 when Silas Arlene was 22, he married Lillian Beatrice Hovater, in Franklin Co., AL.

8910. Frances Earline Garrison. Born on 14 June 1928 in Franklin Co., AL. Frances Earline died in Franklin Co., AL, on 1 March 1984; she was 55. Buried in Gray Rock Cem., Franklin Co., AL.

Earline was always very special, she was the only girl in a family of three boys. She was loved by everyone who knew her.

On 11 December 1945 when Frances Earline was 17, she married Clarence Paul Vandiver, in Franklin Co., AL.

8911. Emmett Arvil Garrison (Private).
Emmett Arvil married Annie Marguerite White (Private), daughter of Henry Allen White & Alice Alva Bailey.
They had the following children:
