In high school he was voted most likely to succeed

When Johnny died he was married to Corinne Cope of Jonesboro, Louisiana . He
was in the Army Paratroop division and was based at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky.
He was driving back to the base when he had his accident. His wife found
out at the time of the accident that she was pregnant with his son.
