During my 87 years on this planet Earth, 75 (so far) have been ones in which spiritual "truth" has been actively sought. The path has been rocky, but progress has been made.
If you would like to know how the journey began, click on "A VISION", below.
I don't expect all who visit this site to agree with me and that's acceptable, for as the Anasazi proclaimed "Spirit is one, the paths are many."
I have based my conclusions on the concept of a LOVING CREATOR and that we have been created in that image. We should at least try to live that image, with Unconditional Love toward all things
It's important to not confuse Love without Condition with sensuallity, which most often has nothing to do with True Love
At first this may seem to be an overly simplistic approach to an understanding of "Truth", but try treating all things and people with "Unconditional Love" for a while. You may find it more difficult to do then to talk about.
You older visitors will recognize the title as being borrowed from "ZEN and, etc. Motorcycle Repair." After all there are no really new ideas under the Sun/Moon.
While pecking around the keyboard I sometimes wonder, why bother?
Possibly it's because while wandering around the vast regions of "The Web" more and more sites devoted to the subject of the "Inner Person" have been found.
I rejoice over that.
Since we're dealing with words and words, at times, have different meanings to each of us, my thought is "Maybe I have something to say that will be of help to other seekers."
In each of the
'favorite sites' on the CONTENTS page and elsewhere the message is essentially the same.
The ideas contained on one page may be expressed a little differently than the others, or mine.
The goal is the same in all.
A searching to find their path to "Spirit."
Views of a mountain top differ even if two persons are standing shoulder to shoulder.
Both viewers see the same "top" (goal) with a slightly different view.
My own feelings are that no matter where an individual "SEEMS" to be on "THEIR" path, that's where they belong at this time.
Growth in matters of the Spirit is the province of just 'you'.
I have NO right to "tell" you that what you believe is wrong.
You have no right to object to my views.
We are each others keeper in the sense that, though we may not realize it, we're all "ministers"
We should care for each other.
It's not easy, we have to work at ridding ourselves of negative thoughts toward another person.
MINISTERS don't 'preach' they listen, with sympathy.
If suggestions are asked for they're presented.
In this respect nothing in these pages will be stated as "This is the only way." All you will find are more or less hints, metaphores.
If anything written here strikes a "chord" in yourself, then pursue that feeling as being "on" your path
We are all in this together no matter what the individual views.
You cannot TEACH a man anything
You can only help him discover it within himself

For those persons who choose to LOUDLY proclaim that "THEY ARE RIGHT"
let me paraphrase 'Old' Bill Shakespear;
" I think you protest too much."
The trouble with the world is that the STUPID are cocksure
and the INTELLIGENT are full of doubt.

After much studying on religeous and metaphysical writings, along with my own deeper thoughts, I've come to the realization that the best way to this mystic truth is contained within yourself.
The gateway to your inner being is the Heart, through Love.
The "Master Jesus", as he's often called, put it well when he told his disciples to Love God with heart, mind, soul and body and your neighbor as yourself.
If you "Heart Center" your thoughts the rest of your path will fall into place.
This heart centering makes little or no sense to many Western people.
The prevailing teaching has been that the brain is the controller of all emotions, reactions, etc.
Years ago, during deep meditation, I became aware (most likely guided to the conclusion) that what is described as the emotion, of Love is more than that.
I truly believe that what we are responding to with our emotional centers is direct communication with the "Heart of the Creator."
When we feel this Love toward another individul we are, in effect, "in tune" with their true self.
By that I mean what is referred to as the "Christ" in each of us.
There is, of course, no proof I can offer to support this statement, however here is something to consider.
Several main organs of the human body emit a "signal" that can be measured electronically.
These points when read by ECG or EEG machines produce a measurable frequency and a form of sine wave, so they are considered to be "Bio Oscillators."
The effects of 'good' thoughts, especially Love, when centered or felt in the region of the heart produce changes in the brain wave pattern.
Silence of the Heart practiced, with wisdom,
will see a lofty depth
and the ear of the silent Mind will hear untold wonders.

While reading some information on so called "subtle energies" I came across the name of Dr. William A. Tiller. While "surfing" the web for more information on this man I found he was Professor Emeritus of Stanford University, Dept of Engineering. Further searching led to a description of work he was doing in the area of heart/brain wave measurement. Much of his work and the results are on the IHM web site.
I found it gratifying to read scientific evidence that seems to back what had been an intuitive understanding on my part.
To find out more about these heart/brain effects we suggest you bring up the web page for the
As you wander through these pages you may be critical of the "layout."
This presentation is not meant to be "formal", but rather a scrapbook containing a few of the thoughts and memories gathered through more than seven decades. So please, take it for what it is.
