Based in Thailand 1995 to 1998 and 2002 to present; traveled to Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, China, Japan, Bangladesh and Nepal.

Enjoy using and instructing students in the use of desktop publishing, graphics programs such as Quark Express,Pagemaker and Photoshop, and use of the internet to create authentic language experiences. Familiar with basic html writing and maintain a personal website.

Professional experience in graphic design, craft design and construction trades, including carpentry, ceramics, fireplaces, and theatrical sets.

Art Education

Art Coordinator of Working Classroom, Inc., a not for profit community-based art organization serving youth of promise; January 1999-September 2000. Administered after-school and summer art workshops for students age eight and older, supervised graphics design projects and curated Working Classroom's art gallery. Volunteer and member of the Board of Directors of Working Classroom, Inc.;1991-1995.
