"Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers,"

Dear Classmates,

We regret that we missed the December 7th party.  I also had pneumonia, but now recovering and getting out again.  I'm going on Medicare the first of January.  Another milestone.  How exciting.

Jonny and I are doing great.  Loving retirement.  We seem to be busier than we were when working.  Isn't that the way it goes?

We just found out at Thanksgiving that we are expecting grandchild #12.  Now we have our dozen and thrilled with the news.  The youngest right now is five and we (and the baby's parents) thought we were finished.  Guess the Good Lord had other ideas.

We have found that the song "Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers," seems to be our theme song.   Ha...

We are traveling a lot, which is our favorite pastime.  I finally convinced Jonny to fly, something she swore she would never do.  But this old body doesn't like driving long distances any more and with her Sister in North Carolina and our Bobby's family living in Oklahoma, we are always running somewhere, plus I can't get enough of the beach.
