Penguin Dream Story Game Guide: Level Two
| Penta takes to the skies in level two, which, if you were to ask me, is proof enough of his dedication to his woman! Penta will dodge flying pink mantas, pigs in mini-flying pirate ships, and the dreaded flying doughnut-spewing machine. In order to continue his quest for love, Penta must face and defeat the game's first boss, Captain Pooh. |
Enemies:
| Watch out for these pink flying mantas, which soar and dive in formation as they try to block Penta's way. |
| Dr. Evil was not the first villain to employ the use of a mini-me. Captain Pooh, too, had himself cloned and miniturized. The result? Mini-Poohs! |
| The birds from level one are back, this time sans their kamikazee partners. |
| These slow-witted heli-bots launch a steady barrage of candied apples at Penta. They should be easy to avoid. |
| Ginji has constructed great, circular, spike-ball swinging, donut-launching devices to help delay Penta's quest! |
| By far the toughest enemy in this stage is the Green-armoured flying henchman. Swooping down from on high, wearing a nearly impenetrable suit of Verite armor, these baddies can give Penta a headache. |
| First Boss: Captain Pooh
Although loyal to Ginji in the extreme, Captain Pooh is well trained in neither battle tactics nor flying pig-powered airship maintenance. His attack pattern is very predictable: he launches three candied apples in a spread pattern while moving side to side, and launches incredibly fast flying pigs while moving up and down. Aim your plane's blaster right at the airship's main nose, and not only will you damage it, it will also launch diet drinks at you as an added bonus (must be another malfunction). |
