Van Gogh's Chair
This was painted in 1888, while Gauguin was staying with Van Gogh at Arles. He did not only paint this painting of a chair, he also painted Gauguin's armchair. Many people say it was suppose to represent the interests of the two artists.
Sunflowers
This is one of the four paintings Van Gogh painted of sunflowers. They were all suppose to decorate the 'Yellow House' in Arles. Van Gogh made a copy of this in 1889.
A Wheat field with Cypresses
This was painted in summer 1889 while he was in the St-Remy asylum. Fields of corn, with or without Cypresses was the subject of a number of pictures.
Comment by me:
I think the painting 'Starry Night' was painted at the same place but the other way round and its at night. If you look at the tree on the right it's points are exactly the same as on 'Starry Night' but the other way round. The bushes are on the picture to. If you look at the way it is painted you will see there is a hill just below the tree, and on 'Starry Night' its been painted on a hill looking down at the town.
