You are Family.

A simple request by a far off friend,
to write something about her special loves.

They mean enough to be family to her,
and to that I can relate.


To wish someone the very best of every day,
not just once in a while.


To cry with them,
and feel their pain,
to cry the light tears of happiness they share.


I miss not being closer to hear your laughter,
I wish so that I could hug you all,
and I thank you for being there for me too.


We are part of a large family,
destined to be brought together someday,
these miles will not separate us forever.


Know that I love you with all my heart,
and that you are here with me,
as I hope I am there with you,
with this note of true caring.
