Of the 322 returned, 236 (73%) require no changes to the data, while 86 (27%) require updating. It bears repeating that the 514 members contacted were members who did not respond to the first survey conducted in 1993. So we were able to reach at least 322 additional members and correct any mistakes in our database. Of the 35 undeliverables, 19 of them are repeat undeliverables from the first survey; 14 are first time undeliverables*, and 2 are passed away. * The first time undeliverables could mean that they were not sent the first mailing, did not respond to the first mailing, or their responses to the first survey was lost. In addition, one life member indicated their desire to “cancel” their
membership. This member’s request was passed on to the national office.
