Brainstorm with students to list the names of as many heroes they can think of who, in some way, resisted the Nazis-- either by force, by refusal to go along with their actions, or by managing to maintain their dignity despite inhuman circumstances. 2. Handout (to be either distributed to the class or used as a resource for lecture material) 3. Have students write, in a journal-type reflection, which person discussed made the greates impression upon them, and why. |
