For a year or two, maybe more, I held the prestigious position of coach of Mathematica's powerhouse softball team "The Ballpark Estimates".  Win or lose, I would draft a summary of each game and e-mail it to my co-workers the following day.  These softball writings are the "best of" the game summaries from 1997 and 1998.
