October 23, 1999 - Saturday
Today was okay. I was about as busy as I like to be and my classes went really well.
I gathered a bunch of counselling forms and got a good laugh out of one. My student
said that he wanted to improve his listening by using his ears like Dumbo to understand his classmates and his teacher. It's a great idea!
The weather is sunny but getting cool. I think I'm going to have to set up my kotatsu
or my kerosene heater soon.
I rented videos tonight. I wanted Practical Magic, but it was out, so I rented Velvet
Goldmine, The Man in the Iron Mask and The Jackal. I've seen the latter, but I really
liked it, so wanted to watch it again.
I think I'm going to go into work tomorrow, and maybe go to Niigata on Monday? Is
it a good idea? I dunno, but I could maybe do a bit of Christmas shopping.I'm so
behind. I also have to get my sister a birthday present.
Anyway, I'll let you know what I decide to do. A bientot.
