September 13, 1999

Today, was a slow, quiet Monday. I didn't go to bed until very early, 4:30 am as I was watching pretty bad films. The first one, was called something like Assault on Devil's Island. The stars were Hulk Hogan, Carl Weathers and Shannon Tweed. That alone should have warned me, but as I said yesterday I was in the mood to watch a bad film. Luckily, that was exactly what I got. Later I watched a made for TV movie with Cynthia Gibb and Greg Evigan called Earthquake in New York. Now, why on earth I would want to watch a film about earthquakes when I live in Japan and can experience them often is beyond me. I guess I had a flashback to my days of watching BJ and the Bear and wanted to see how Greg Evigan has aged(Not too badly actually.) And also last night, I called my sister and we had a very long gab session. It was good. We even talked about our Mum, which was kind of a first for us.

Today I slept until noon, did laundry, and then went to see The Matrix. What a cool film. I really enjoyed it. You know how last night I said that Keanu rules, and then I took it back? Well, he does.

After I bought a few groceries and came home. I finished my Patricia Cornwell novel (The Body Farm) that I decided to reread, watched ER, played a few games on my computer and that's about it for today. Still no important phone calls. Sigh. Oh well. C'est la vie.
