"Halloween, the festival of Samhain.
The last great one took place over 3,000 years ago and the hills ran red with
the blood of animals and children. It's time again." - Conal Cochran
In 1989 the screams began. In 1995 you were
tricked into becoming a treat for the dead. Now prepare yourself for the
unimaginable. Follow the screams to...
The Jennings House of Horror
For the past
13 years, I have
created a House of Horror for Halloween night.
It started out very small...a few tombstones, some scary music, and a maniacal host in the
driveway/front yard
of
my parents house. After several years, my nephews joined in on the
frightful fun and soon we created a path around the house that trick-or-treaters
could navigate through. In 1995 we started
the walk-though and had five 'actors' and maybe 50 'victims'. By 1998 we
had twelve actors and 200+ victims!
We
continue our haunting season this year with Charade of Mortality. What
this means exactly, I don't know, but it sure sounds spooky and mysterious!!

ASKED QUESTIONS
Where
is it?
"666" Harness Circle
Lake Worth, Florida
Click below for
detailed map.
When is it?
The House of Horror is held one night only, Halloween night from dusk to
about 9pm (depending on crowd size and the hunger of the ghouls)
How
much is it?
FREE! However we do accept donations!
What can I expect?
It's a 'participatory' house in which the guests walk through several
scenes of death and carnage. We usually have about 100 to 150 people come
out and partake in the mayhem. Only a few guests don't make it out - they
become part of the attraction. Parents are advised that some scenes are
not suitable for children under 12. Keep in mind that there are no
refreshments or facilities available.
We'll see
you Halloween night...I'll inform the denizens to expect you. Until
then you can check out some of the Halloween pics in the...
