After the discussion, it was realised that the wife does not really inherit anything when the husband passes away whether they have children or not. If this really is the case, how is equality defined in our faith. And if the above case is true, what should be done in order to secure the wife's future? Answer: The wife inherits 1/8 (i.e. 12.5%) of her husband's estate, in the presence of all categories of heirs. If there are no children her share is 1/4 (i.e.25%)
