I have been taught to read the first Ayah (2:255) and then continue to recite the following 2 ayahs (2:256-257). However, many of my Sunni friends recite and most of the caligraphy I see only contains ayah 2:255. So, what exactly is Ayatul-Kursi: 2:255 or 2:255-257? ANSWER: Ayatul Kursi starts from "Allahu Laa ilaha illa huwal Hayyul Qayyum..." upto "....khalidun" i.e. 2:255-257.
