Should we avoid wearing such clothes while praying or should not wear them in any case? ANSWER: Wool is that part of an animal that has no life. It is thus Tahir (Paak) in any case even if you know that the animal has not been slaughtered according to Sharia. Ayatullah Seestani, in his Resala, Pg 16 Masala 90 (The English Version) says: Those parts of a dead body which do not contain life like wool, hair, teeth, nails, bones and horns are Paak.
