ANSWER 1: NO it is not wajib to take a bath immediately, however, after being in a state of janabat, it is makruh but not haram to sleep in that state. If a person does wudhu, then it is not makruh to sleep in the state of janabat. QUESTION 2: Does the bedsheet become najis on which a couple performs janabat? ANSWER 2: The bedsheet will only becomes najis if any najasat falls onto the bedsheet. QUESTION 3: If the couple falls asleep after janabat without taking a bath, will the clothes that they are wearing as well as the bedsheet on which they sleep become najis? So much so that if they use the same clothes the next time, or sleep on the same bedsheet the next time they again become najis and can not offer prayers, although they may be completely paak otherwise. ANSWER 3: If the couple wash themselves after entering in the state of janabat in such a way that all najasat is removed then their clothes and the bedsheet will not become najis. So they can use the same clothes and bedsheet the next time without becoming najis. With salaams and du'as Liyakatali
