QUESTION:

During the time you are not "paak", is it OK to touch the alams, the "laash"
during Muharram? What about ziyarat to the zari room, and when you're on
actual
Ziyarat in holy places in Syria, Iraq, Iran, etc.?


ANSWER:


Touching of the alams, lash, entering into zarih rooms, husyaniyya
(Imambarghah) does not require one to be in the state of tahara. However,
one cannot enter into a mosque when one is in the state of najasat.
