Dedicated
to
the memory of...
...the men and
women who steadfastly held to their God-given freedom to worship,
or not to worship,according
to the dictactes of the individual's conscience, without interference
from the Church
or State. To those who were entombed in dark and lonely dungeons, flayed,
tortured on the
rack, burnt alive at thestake, beheaded on the block, and endured persecution
and deprivation
beyond description of whom thisworld was not worthy (Hebrews 11:35-38).
This book is hereby
dedicated to the memory, forgotten of men, but inscribed in God's
Book
of Remembrance
(Malachi 3:16). Their blood was not spilt in vain, forit led to out present
freedoms which
so many of different faiths and ideals enjoy, yet take for granted.
