Vibrational Medicine is a proven scientific method of healing, utilising the energies of the etheric body and strengthening its weaknesses rather than saying "This person has a cold or suffers from stress - therefore I shall administer this treatment". So - what is the etheric body? The acknowledgement that life exists in a multi-dimensional anatomy.
1. Spiritual - all life has some form of existence beyond that which we can see in the material world.
2. Emotional - the acknowledgement that our emotions do indeed effect our health... that being upset can cause us to become sick, that being happy automatically makes us feel better.
3. Physical - that which is seen by us in the here and now.
As ripples through a still pond, a problem or healing in any one of these areas will promote sickness or wellbeing in the greater whole. A healing is anything that takes effect on the body in a physical, emotional and spiritual level.
When a substance is heated, scientists know that this heat is present due to exciting the vibration of the molecules in the substance. It is known that the atom is the principal building block of all things, and that each atom is made primarily of energy. Atoms join together to form molecules. Take, for example, the Different States of Water (Figure 1.1).
Figure 1.1 - The Different States of Water
----------------------------------------------------------------------- FROZEN LIQUID VAPOUR
The state of water depends on temperature (the frequency of the vibration of its molecules).
Figure 1.2 - The Different States of Light
----------------------------------------------------------------------- MATTER ENERGY
The different states of light depend on the frequency of its vibration. Therefore it can be determined that matter is light. This is the holistic explanation of why the properties of water display the characteristics of both light and matter. The lower the frequency of vibration, the more material the substance. The higher the frequency of vibration, the more energetic the substance. |

The major chakras are the points along the spine (in animals) through which the physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies communicate with one another. Each chakra has a gland attuned with it that secretes hormones in the physical body that alters our emotional state. A disease or sickness in one part of the body will show in the emotional and spiritual body by altering the amount of the particular hormone in the bloodstream, thus effecting us on an emotional level, and the chakra attuned with that area will become dull or subdued, effecting its corresponding layer within the aura.

The Heisenburg Principle states that we are part of what we are seeing and cannot seperate ourselves from the greater whole of which we observe. Depending on the viewpoint of the individual, each aspect is either individual packs of energy or waves of interlocking energy. Holistic healers view reality as individual packets of energy that are connected in a greater vibrational system (ie. We can all think for ourselves, but are ultimately connected to and influenced by the subtle energies of the Earth and other planets). Each part contains the greater whole. This was thoroughly demonstrated to me in a grade 12 Physics lesson. I remember sitting in class, only mildly interested in what the teacher had to say, while he showed the class pictures of the universe shrunk so many billion times to fit on the screen before us. It was basically a black background with lots of little white speckles all over it - the stars, and solar system, with the one larger spot which we were able to identify as the sun. The next slide was a shrunken image of the solar system - you could just distinguish the difference between the planets and the stars. The series continued, focusing on the planet Earth, and then a country, a city, a street, a person, a person's head, the skin, the molecule, and then the atom (magnified so many billion times). This last image was exactly the same as the first. The atom had a larger point of light (the nucleus), with lots of little white speckles around (the electrons and the paths which they travel). The microscopic does indeed contain the macroscopic.
Once we have acknowledged this factor, we can then determine what is happening in the body from focusing on one particular part. Iris analysis and tongue diagnosis are two of the most popular methods of diagnosis, however the iris will only show what the body has the potential for. For example, if there is a history of cancer in the family, this will show up in the iris and the diagnosis might then indicate that the person has cancer, when they only have the potential to have cancer.
DIAGNOSTIC METHODS
1. OBSERVATION - vitality is shown in the tongue. Look at the body and examine the colour and features. What is the tongue coated in? Is there any trace of mucus? If so, how thick and what colour is it?
2. LISTENING (voice) - how strong is the person's voice. Are they nervous? Are they being direct and straightforward in telling you about their problems?
3. SMELL - not applicable to body odour these days as many today use deodorants and perfumes to mask odours such as sweat, but may be noted with such things as breath and after the opening of the bowels.
4. QUESTIONING - ASK your patient questions. "What is wrong?" or "Why are you here to see me?" will not tell the practitioner everything. Remember - the patient does not know what is healthy. "Are there any questions about your diet?" will not tell you anything either (most will simply reply "no"). Instead, ask things like, "On an average day, what do you eat?" and "How much?". Ask the right questions, get the right answers.
5. PALPATATION - As already mentioned, the meridians give strong clues as to what is happening in the body. By testing the meridian's pulse, we can be aware of the strength and vitality of the vital organs.
Do not be surprised if the practitioner wishes to test one or all of the above. And take note of all of the above BEFORE you go to see them - it is quite embrassing to have to tell the practitioner "I don't know" (especially when it comes to answering questions about odour and how you feel after eating this or that food).
And now for a little something about the importance of water. :o) As most people who have done chemistry know, water has a unique binding system. The bond angle between the two hydrogen atoms will change, according to the surrounding vibrational material. If the vibration is toxic, the molecule will close, whereas any other kind of vibration, the water molecule will open up and absorb the frequency. This is why it is so important in vibrational medicine (not just for body hydration purposes). It will strengthen the effectiveness of the medicine administered to you (NOT potentise it). It is worth noting that in the case of Homeopathy and Aromatherapy, toothpaste or coffee before you go to your session will render all medicines administered ineffective.
