The U.N. Has No Effect On My Liberty!

I Wish That Statement Was True.

Unfortunately, it is not. The United Nations is desperately trying to meddle in the affairs of the United States and all countries around the world, while they insidiously cloak themselves in the mantle of peacemaker.

Take, for example, the U.N.'s position on the environment, global warming, the burning of fossil fuels and their proposed taxation/fining of industrialized countires (translation: U.S.) for "contributing" more than their share to these action items. Isn't this just another method of reallocating money from the working class of the wealthy nations (translation: U.S.) and transferring it to the upper class of the poorest nations?

Why are we constantly made to feel guilty for our wealth? America wasn't born rich. Yes, we were always wealthy as far as natural resources were concerned. But most of the original European settlers were rewarded with death for attempting to live on this continent. Their life was hard. The American West wasn't settled by purchasing a railway ticket to California with a carpet-bag full of money in each hand. Many of those settlers never made it either, dying along the way. Life in early America was harsh and unforgiving.

Our forefathers worked. Our inheritance was purchased with their sweat and blood, literally. I was educated by the sweat from my father's brow. I work hard every day. I am not one bit sorry that my home is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. I am not sorry that I am well-nourished and that my pantry is full. After all, I am a charitable man. I care what happens to those who are less fortunate. I will not stand by and watch my birthright taken from me to have it redistributed in any so-called noble cause.

Of course, the U.N. knows that it can't forcibly take our freedom, even though elements in our government keep trying to cooperate with the U.N.'s goal. The U.S. Senate, so far, has not permitted us to come under the control of the U.N. So, the U.N.'s next big cause is gun control. How else are they ever going to foist their design upon the free peoples of the world?

Recently, I made a trip to New York, and I visited the U.N. When I got within a half-block of the U.N.'s buildings, there was this unearthly thrum which could be heard above the New York traffic and felt within the deepest part of my body. It was the U.N.'s air conditioners! They are underground, and there are huge grates serving as ventillators, which are almost hidden behind shrubery, spewing noise and heat. So much for saving fossil fuels. I guess the General Secretary of the U.N. likes being cool like any common American. I'll bet he turns on those huge heaters during the cold New York winters.

When I rounded the corner and went up the steps to the vistors entrance, I was greated by the U.N. art. Of course, they have the statue of the man beating his sword into a plowshare, and right next to that statue they have the handgun with its barrel twisted into a knot. (I'm desperately looking for that graphic, even the U.N. hasn't put it on its pages; although, they have the "plowshare" statue. If you see it, please e-mail me.)

When I went down into the bookstore, lo and behold! There were stacks of their latest publication: "An Unarmed Man." I can tell you how that book ends: It usually involves chains.

Well, I got the picture. These fellows want a peaceful earth. Then why were all of the U.N. guards carrying guns? Why do peaceful people needs guns! The U.N. knows that it takes guns to keep the peace, but why can't I have peace, too? That did it right there; it all became clear to me.

Perchance, you think this is semi-hysterical ranting, let us hear what the U.N. has to say about this issue. Use my link to the U.N. page. Then, select "Search" from the U.N. menu. Next, opt for "Search Selected Areas Link." Then, select "U.N. Press Releases." Then, type "SC/6397". Unfortunately, the U.N. sets this up so that I can't directly link to their documents. Everything is there, but it's hard to get to. I wonder why? Oh well, use this link to the U.N.

The U.N. categorically states that it does not have as a goal the creation of a world government. Yet, it desires to control the earth's resources and people by redistributing the wealth. It legislates conduct for its member nations. It has control of the World Court and has an army at its disposal. Now let's see: The U.N. has a legislature, a judiciary, an executive (the General-Secretary) and an army. If it looks like a government, acts like a governemnt, then...

The Road To Hell: The Ravaging Effects Of Foreign Aid And International Charity - Want to find out what the U.N. and other "charitable" organizations do with all that relief money? This will make you mad. It's an excellent book written by a motivated humanitarian who had all his illusions shattered during his service in Africa.

What about the fact that the U.S. presidency uses the U.N. to circumvent the war powers of Congress? How about the court-martial of Army Specialist Michael New? You know, the twice-decorated U.S. Army specialist who was court-martialed for refusing to wear the U.N. isignia on his uniform. According to the laws enacted by Congress, he was correct. Things are getting bad, folks.

The Truth Is Out There.
