THE APPRENTICE PROTOCOL
The Apprentice is HONORED BOUND to be loyal
to his or her teacher. An apprentice is NEVER to
DIVULGE any secret given to them by their
teacher or that is within The Book Of Spitzalod without the
expressed permission of their teacher or SO LONG AS THE
APPRENTICE REMAINS UNDER HIS OR HER TEACHER. Unless, of
course, your teacher has advised you or has given permission for
you to share a certain assignment with someone else.
IF YOU ATTEND A WIZARDS CONVOCATION OR MEETING WITH YOUR
TEACHER AS HIS OR HER SPECIAL APPRENTICE, YOU THE APPRENTICE
WOULD BE STILL HONORED BOUND TO NEVER DIVULGE ANY SECRET OR
KNOWLEDGE SEEN OR HEARD AT ANY SUCH EVENTS, WITHOUT THE EXPRESSED
PERMISSION OF YOUR TEACHER. To do so would be to bring enormous
DISHONOR and SHAME on your teacher. And you would had violated "THE
LAW OF SORCERY" which states: "NEVER
DRAW A WIZARDS BLOOD".
As an Apprentice if you agree to make a trip with, or give
help to your teacher in any way, shape, form or fashion and you
go back on your word or promise, you would have done HARM to your
teacher and would have drawn your teachers blood symbolically. BE
CAREFUL WHAT YOU AGREE TO FULFILL WITHIN ANY MANNER WITH YOUR
TEACHER. Because you are HONORED BOUND to do whatever
YOU PROMISE to do. NEVER GO BACK ON YOUR WORD (Your word is
sacred, in the ancient traditions).
As an Apprentice you are FORBIDDEN TO ACCEPT
INSTRUCTION at the hands of ANY OTHER TEACHER
until YOU the Apprentice have been DULY INITIATED and or
RELEASED from the instructions of your PRESENT
TEACHER. An Apprentice is NEITHER TO CONSORT
WITH OTHER Wiccans, Pagans, Wizards or Sorcerers who may
seek to do HARM OR DAMAGE to His or Her Teacher.
As an Apprentice you are not a slave of your teacher. Harry
Martin (The TomeMaster) had spoken to many Apprentices who had
told him horror stories about being told to do something by their
Teacher and when the Apprentice refused to do as they were told
to do, their teacher had placed a Curse on them and done them
harm. THIS IS NOT RIGHT NOR JUSTIFIED BY ANY TEACHER OF
THE OCCULT PATHS OR OLD WAYS. And if an Apprentice is in
this sort of relationship with his or her teacher whom had
threaten to curse them for not performing something that a
Apprentice doesn't see a good reason to do or perform, then I
would advise said Apprentice to leave that Teacher at once.
I want to re-emphasize that the Apprentice is
"NOT" a slave of his or her teacher. And while
an Apprentice should always LISTEN to any and
all suggestions from his or her Teacher, the Teacher IS
NEVER TO THREATEN an Apprentice with occult harm for any
reason, and especially if the Apprentice does not want to perform
a certain occult task that would develop that Apprentice in their
potential.
Now, the most well known problem with an Apprentice in both
the Old Days, and in our present day and age, IS THE LACK
OF COMMITMENT. Many Apprentices began their period of
instructions with enthusiasm and great interest. And then in a
few months these naturally bright individuals are gone. In most
cases such Apprentices are content with the little bits of occult
knowledge that they had learned while they were with their
teacher. And they go on their way convinced that they have
learned enough to become a very powerful Wizard or Sorceress
without needing anymore help from an initiated practitioner of
The Craft.
If it were that easy to become a powerful occult practitioner
EVERYONE would be a powerful Wizard or Sorereress by
now. The World is FULL of men and women who
carry on as if they are GREAT and POWERFUL
occult practitioners, but they are not because they lack
"COMMITMENT" TO COMPLETE THEIR TRAINING PROGRAM AS AN
APPRENTICE, BY WHATEVER MEANS.
Now, the protocol on "Initiation marks"
is quite simple. When your Teacher think that you an Apprentice
is ready to wear an initiation mark then that Teacher will tell
the Apprentice it is time, "To Bear Thy Mark".
The final protocol is that the Apprentice is always to HONOR
their TEACHER. Just because an Apprentice has
been told that they may go as an independent and highly trained
Wizard or Sorceress, does not give the Apprentice the privilege
of ever bad mouthing or attempting to do any harm to their
previous Teacher. The Wizard or Sorceress who had taught you as
an Apprentice has given you the power to change your own destiny,
and the destiny of others. Your teacher would have imparted part
of their own magickal powers to YOU the Apprentice. And no matter
where the Apprentice may travel in life or upon life's pathway
they take a part of their Teacher with them. YOU ARE
ALWAYS TO HONOR YOUR TEACHER AND PROTECT HIS OR HER GOOD NAME AND
REPUTATION. If you do not, You would have drawn a
Wizards Blood, and the Supernatural Powers of The Order of
Spitzalod will punish you for committing such an unjustified
offense against one of their Teachers or Mystics.
