Here is the information you will need for the Mid-Year Camp at Albany

Mid-Year Camp for all hosted students will be at Camp Maynard, Albany 
17th, 18th and 19th May 2002
This is a voluntary camp for all hosted students, and host brothers or sisters may also attend.  Cost is $55 per person.

This is also the End-of-Stay Camp for June departure students.

ARRIVAL TIME- between 6 and 7pm on Friday May 17th.

 There will be no dinner on Friday night but supper will be served about 9pm.

All meals are provided including lunch on Sunday.

DEPARTURE TIME- about 3pm on Sunday May 19th.

Please note:  NO alcohol will be allowed; 
There will be a noise curfew after 11pm.

Things we usually take:
  • All gear packed in 1 pack or suitable carry bag.
  • Sleeping bag
  • Pillow
  • Toilet gear and towel
  • Warm clothing (very important)
  • Swimming togs (maybe)
  • Shorts/T-shirt for games
  • Waterproof jacket/Parka/Raincoat
  • Extra pair of shoes and sandals
  • Torch
  • Yearbook, (July students should have one)
  • Cake/biscuits/slice etc.
  • Item for Saturday night concert (there's always a concert!)
  • National costume/flag/other items
  • Optional extras:  Musical instruments, cards,  music CD's & tapes, camera
  • Any other personal items
  • Eating utensils - named and in a plastic bag
  • 1 mug*
  • 1 dinner plate*
  • 1 dessert plate*
  • 1 knife, fork, spoon, tea spoon
  • 1 tea towel
              *Unbreakable recommended
