Halloween Contest This is the First, of many, contests that the U.I.W. will try to do; this one is to celebrate the best day of the year (my birthday, jeje) and Halloween. I hope to see a good turnout. In this contest, the theme is Halloween. Anyone who wants to participate may do so. All that you have to do is draw, write, or create something showing Bart Allen (Impulse) and/or his friends celebrating Halloween. You can submit anything, here are some examples: Fan Art (jpg, png) Fan Fiction (txt, doc) Flash Animation Others All entries must be about the theme of the contest: Halloween. Any entry that does not fit the theme will not be eligible for the contest. Since I'm the only one running this site, I am going to be the judge. The entries will be sorted into three categories: Art: Drawing, Wallpapers, etc. Fiction: Stories, etc. Other: Anything that won't fit in the other two categories The winner of each category (first place only) will receive a prize! The prizes will vary from different TPB featuring Impulse. Now for the important information regarding the "what and how" of submitting. Please follow every rule, neglecting to follow the rules will lead to disqualification. All entries will be submitted to impulse_y2k@yahoo.com. Please be sure to include "Halloween Contest" in the subject line. All entries must relate to the contest theme: First time Trick or Treat Submissions must no be more that 3MB, if you want to submit something that exceeds 3MB you must uploaded into an OUTSIDE FTP Site (Geocities, etc.) and send the URL, Entries must not contain anything vulgar, obscene, or unacceptable. Entries with extensions that could be potentially harmful (such as .vbs and .bat) will be rejected. Multiple files will be accepted from a single participant. However, each participant may win only ONE prize. Please, put effort into your submissions. And finally, the deadline for ALL entries is November 14th 11:59pm. Late entries will be sacrifice to the Late-entry God of DOOM Entries beyond 5MB will not be eligible as well as files that have the BMP extention (sorry folk, they are WAY too large). To convert from BMP to another format, use a utility like IrfanView or GIMP. Submit all entries to impulse_y2k@yahoo.com. In the "Subject" of the e-mail enter "Halloween Contest". In the "Body" of the e-mail include the name of the piece and the name that you want to be known as. Nameless entries will no be eligible. Now go create and most important, HAVE FUN!!!
