We decided to
test Super Gs and Tyco 440-X2 narrow chassis in the same race. The
Super Gs were set up to OHORA class specs, while the Tycos were set
up to the Tyco Polystock class specs of the OHORA. The results are
shown above. One race doesn't give much of a statistical sample, but
observing the cars you could see the Super G's had the straight line
speed, while the Tycos were faster in the corners. Depending on the
track, I can see an advantage of one chassis over the other. Hopefully,
we will do more testing in the weeks to come. The right hand picture
shows the cars we raced. The Super G on the left was run against two
Tyco 440-X2s.
