World Music Awards'98 (Monte Carlo) - BSB as Best Dance Artist. Guys were without Brian, who had then his surgery. Kevin said with breaking voice: "As you can tell, we're missing...one of our members is not here - Brian. And we want to dedicate this award to him. He's back home. We love you!" and Nick added: "We love you, Brian.".
19. In 1997 Backstreet Boys received Gold Penguin from RE - Austrian magazine.

BSB at 25th American Music Awards. In the United States they sold over 22 milions copies of their first album "Backstreet Boys". Boys are for 52 weeks at the Billboard.

"Thank you! It's the most beautiful moment in our career for the time!" said Howie on the stage in hotel in Las Vegas,US. BSB got two awards as: Best Group Album and Best Adult Contemporary.
29. Another award from magazine "Smash Hits". Readers voted for BSB as The Best Non-British Band of 1998. On the pic you can see also how the boys voted: Kev's Best British Band - All Saints; B-Rok's Prince Of Pop'98 - Robbie Williams; A.J.'s Best Film Actress - Claire Danes; Nick's Best Male Haircut - Will Smith; Howie's Worst Film - "Armageddon".
30. A Comet'98 award for the Backstreet Boys from viewers of VIVA TV. Boys didn't get this award personally. Chirin-presenter from VIVA came to Orlando and gave them it while they had rehearsals. BSB were very proud and sang live "As long as you love me" to thanks the viewers in Germany.
31. Third Gold Otto for Backstreet Boys! They received that award from German magazine "BRAVO". Boys as the first artist got it for the third time! Because of their appearance at Grammy Awards they couldn't be on Bravo Super Show to personally take Otto'98. They got it while they where in Germany and performed at "Charity'98" on 29th November'98.
32. POPCORN-Starwahl'98: Gold Microphones of course only for the Backstreet Boys. This award as the Best Pop/Rock Band and the Best Live Act boys received from the "POPCORN" journalist - Jürgen Winzer.
