English Language and Literature Teacher
I keep myself busy for 9 months of the year teaching English at St. Andrew's Scots School in grades 7 through 12. Besides preparing pupils for the International Baccalaureate and University of Cambridge Examinations, my main aim is to develop activities that might make the learning experience a little more interesting and valid for the kids.
Clubs and Other Activities
I have the pleasure of coaching the school debate team that participates in various local and international events. At present, we have 25 young debaters and are still growing!
I also have the not so pleasant job of editing the school magazine, The Thistle, and chasing down articles.

Head of Economics and Business Studies Department
As well as teaching a fairly heavy load, Gloria coordinates the Department of Economics and Business Studies at St. Andrew's Scots School. Pupils in her classes participate in various hands-on activities as well as sitting for the International Baccalaureate and University of Cambridge Examinations. Click here to see some of her prize pupils.
Clubs and Other Activities
Gloria seldom rests as we shall see (That's why I'm filling in this information). She is a 12th grade form tutor, HouseMistress for Dodds, past advisor of Carpe Diem and the coordinator of a brilliant Community Service Program.
She has also returned to the university where she is complementing her degree in Economics from Grove City College with a teaching certificate in Philosophy, Psychology and Pedagogy.
